VisionQuest Hid and Failed to Report Decades of  Sexual Abuse

Attorneys have filed a dozens of child abuse injury lawsuits against VisionQuest National, LTD. These lawsuits allege at VisionQuest facilities, RAMPANT physical, mental, and sexual abuse occurred during the last two decades. VisionQuest ran facilities in multiple states including Pennsylvania, Arizona, Maryland, Delaware, and Texas. VisionQuest employed staff members who were responsible and entrusted to care for the minors who resided in their juvenile placement units. Often with the supervisors' and administrators' knowledge and complicity, thousands of residents allege staff members used excessive force and unnecessary force and physically restrained them causing a multitude of injuries, some involving hospitalizations and extensive medical treatment.  Other residents alleged horrific sexual abuse by staff members both at the facility and during sponsored excursions. As a caretaker for juveniles placed into its care VisionQuest had a legal duty and responsibility to protect all its residents from harm, and report any child abuse whether physical abuse and/or sexual abuse.
